Home Visits

Doctor's bag

A home visit is specifically meant for patients who are unable to come to the surgery.   If you require a home visit please telephone the surgery before 10:00 if at all possible.
This way the GP can plan their calls effectively and ensure that the most urgent cases are given priority.   For this reason you may be asked to give a brief explanation of your request to a member of the Patient Liaison team.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
